(Heights Gardens tenant) Anonymous: I moved to the Gardens for it's closeness to Main Street. I can get to the places I frequent by walking, if I don't want to drive. The building and the property are kept clean by the landlord, which is great, but I wish he would spend more time scrutinizing the people he leases to. Wow, is all I can say about some of the tenants. How do you let your kids run and jump, and bang and yell all day into the night? I guess it doesn't matter if you're the same. You never know when the noise is going to start or stop is the problem,. You can't blame the kids though, you have to blame the parents. I mean, how ignorant can you be not to know what it sounds like to other tenants. Or don't they care? I yelled out for them to give it a f$%^ing break, and the next thing I knew the police were pounding on my door. They said I wasn't allowed to do that. "What am I allowed to do," I asked?  "Call your landlord and make a complaint," is what they said. "They're up there disrupting the quiet in this building day and night, and you want me to just call the landlord and complain. Why don't you have a talk with them instead of me? And while you're at it, stop at a few other units and tell them no more musical instruments at ten o'clock at night." They said, "call the landlord." Then you have the tenants that think they own the parking lot. They park any way they want or have friends come and take up tenant spaces. There are signs for visitor parking, but I guess it's too far a walk, or maybe they don't care. I think they just don't care is probably it. So they take my space, and I have to walk through bad weather to make their f$%^ing life easier. And then there are the tenants or visitors that never say a word to you, or even acknowledge you unless they need something. They're in their own little world, and I say, "STAY THERE!"
